It’s a common theme for people who leave military life to search for a “second mission” after they separate.

After a career of several years in the U.S. Marine Corps, Ashley N. Pribble found her second mission in a law practice representing people who have experienced accidents resulting in serious injuries.

Pribble is a native of Houston and an eighth-generation Texan who attended the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland, where she studied information technology. She subsequently earned a commission as an active duty officer in the Marines.

She is an accomplished pilot who completed Navy flight school and earned the qualification to land high-performance jets on aircraft carriers. She also served as an Operations Officer for a logistical aviation support squadron that included about 400 Marines.

After separating from the Marine Corps, Pribble moved back home to Houston and attended law school at the University of Houston Law Center. During law school, she interned with Judge Jamison in the Texas 14th Court of Appeals and Judge Miller in the Southern District of Texas. A later internship at The Krist Law Firm, P.C. turned into a full-time job after she earned her law degree.

Since joining The Krist Law Firm, P.C., Pribble has applied her proficient legal skills to cases involving people injured in motor vehicle accidents. Additionally, her military experience as a pilot and extensive knowledge of aerodynamics gives her an advantage in cases involving aviation accidents. She spends 100 percent of her time litigating personal injury cases.

She relishes the chance to put her skills as a lawyer to use fighting on behalf of good people who need the compensation that a personal injury lawsuit can bring. “That’s what it’s all about for us,” she said.

As a personal injury attorney, she brings a strong sense of ethics, compassion, and justice to each case. Through her military background, she also brings an ability to be cool under pressure — such as in a deposition or in a courtroom.

Outside of law practice, Pribble is an athlete who has run 10K races and half marathons. She enjoys traveling, cooking, watching football, and spending time with her family.
